Map/Get Directions

Dear HARI Community;

In September 2017, HARI will be relocating at 40 Gardiner Street, (for directions use address: 40 Astral Street), Warwick, RI,02888 .
It is very conveniently located near Airport (about 15 minutes drive from Providence).

Moving away from the current location at Brown University, the home of HARI for more than 15 years, has been a very difficult decision for us.
However, Brown University has become more concerned about having children under 18 years on the campus on a regular basis. In our discussions with Brown we mutually agreed that continuing at Brown is unsustainable. HARI would have to incur considerable expense
in order to comply with all the legal requirements related to supervising children at Brown.

We are fortunate to have found an alternative space that allows us to continue to operate HARI on a minimal budget. HARI is run entirely on a volunteer basis and a modest fees that is used to cover operating expenses.

Our new space also has the advantage of having designed classrooms with blackboards and desks and adequate parking space. The Brown space was never intended as a teaching space and we always struggled to adapt the rooms to our teaching needs.

If you have completed the pre-registration and for some reason will not like to continue for new session, please let us know for refunds.

We hope to see you all in the fall in our new space at 40 Gardiner Street, Warwick, RI, 02888. We anticipate that HARI will continue to be a vibrant learning community and look forward to our relocation with optimism.

Wishing you happy summer.

Oct 30th, HARI School closed for Diwali

Dear Parents:

IN HARI calendar Diwali is not a holiday because commonly it falls on a week day
and we have a separate day earmarked for Diwali Event.
However, this year Diwali falls on Sunday, October 30.
We have been hearing from parents and teachers alike that being an important day HARI should close on this day.
We realize the significance of the day and have accordingly decided to declare

October 30 a holiday to mark the DIWALI POOJA DAY.

HARI wishes you a prosperous Diwali and Happy New Year!
